Every year, the Carnival procession takes on a different theme with prizes awarded for Best Interpretation of Theme, Best Overall Class Winner, Best Overall Walking Entry, Best Marching Band, each of the winners either receive a cash donation to a local charity of their choice or / and a trophy. Walking class entrants aged 12 years and under and
walking entrants aged 12 - 18 win cash for themselves.

There is no fee to enter the Carnival procession, see how to enter or just  contact us ! - walking entrants can  report on the day to the control point situated on Caldwell Road but vehicle class entries MUST contact us at least four days prior to Carnival day for instructions.

The procession features around 25 highly decorated floats as well as the splendid
Carnival Queens float which is designed and built by Nuneaton & Bedworth In Bloom. Also in the procession will be five marching bands, majorette troupes, cheerleaders, shire horse drawn omnibus, mayoral car as well as over 100 walking entries, visiting Carnival Queens from all over the country all bringing their own float - all together making
Nuneaton Carnival the largest Carnival in Warwickshire and one of the largest voluntary organised town Carnival's in the country.

Walking Classes C & D win themselves either £20.00, £ 15.00 or £10.00
1st, 2nd, 3rd prize winners in classes A & B win £150.00 and 1st, 2nd & 3rd in classes E & F win £100 for a charity of their choice.
